Sewn slowly, in a small room in Porto
Sauvelle began in 2019 at a single table on Rua das Flores. Today twelve seamstresses cut and finish every piece by hand, using European flax linen and Portuguese wool from mills within 200 km.
We make in small batches, so fewer garments are made and fewer are wasted. Each one is built to be worn for a decade, then mended.
